SEIU WANTS TO ENDORSE TOM STILLINGS, CANDIDATE TO FILL TRAITOR STUPAK'S SEAT

This is priceless. The SEIU wants to endorse one of our candidates that's running for Congress.  Tom Stillings, an Icaucus candidate is vying for Bart Stupak's seat.  Following is a copy of a letter from the SEIU, with the answer from Stillings.  Now I am really glad Icaucus endorsed him.

"Right-to-work laws make less sense as businesses become more globalized. Right-to-work is not going to stop that globalization process."

Mr. Luke Canfora

Political Director
S.E.I.U. Mi.
Dear sir:

Thank you for your solicitation. At first, I was somewhat confused at receiving it. It was then that I realized that you obviously know nothing about me.
Please allow me to enlighten you. I am your worst nightmare.
I am a firm believer in the Right to Work, and a strong proponent of Right To Work Laws. I abhor your actions in working with SENATOR ALLEN to use the force of state government to steal the hard earned dollars of those who provide care for the elderly .

Your union's thuggish tactics in support of a failed president's attempt to socialize our nation are symptomatic of a disease that true conservatives such as I will soon cure. If there is any justice left in this world, your organization and others like it, will in the words of a truly great American, "disappear into the dust bin of history.".
In short, please know that I would NEVER entertain or accept any endorsement or assistance from an organization such as yours. I hold the S.E.I.U in absolute contempt. You are a major player in an effort to destroy the character and capability of the greatest nation ever to have existed on the face of this planet.

Enjoy Marquette. Like the rest of Michigan it is truly a fabulous place this time of year, or any time for that matter.
Please be sure to say "hello" to Senator Allen for me. Since your event is the one place he can be sure I will not attend, he may take advantage of the opportunity to appear.

Sincerely,

Tom Stillings
Candidate for Congress
Michigan 1st District

  1. I love Tom Stillings! He sounds like another Chris Christie type non-politics-as-usual politician, which we need more of.

  2. I'm not in Stillings district, but I certainly hope that he wins. We need more people like him to go to D.C. and tell it like it is, instead of all of this pandering to special interests and "benefits"!

  10. We lost to big money and big politics. Had we won, the biggest story of the political year might well have been how much we did with so little resources.
Lesson learned: If you can't raise the big money you really don't have a chance. Politics is now just another big business. There is really no room for the citizen candidate. If America is to survive, that must change.
This election was a contest between the state party regular insiders and the national party influence. The rest of us were window dressing. TS

  11. It was very sad for me, too. I had been promoting him whenever I could from our end, Tom. But, the establishment did not get their way across the board. Rocky, being a soldier, knew how to fight and while he got slammed with the most nasty negative ads, he took the high road and kept fightng for us, the people. The people knew it and he won by a landslide. Meanwhile his opponent was the one endorsed by the party officials and major figureheads, like Brooks Patterson et al.
Now on to nastier, it already started.
